Commando 2 is for action lovers and the fight sequences in the second installment are of another level that will make you go wow

Despite getting mixed reviews from the audience and the film fraternity, Vidyut Jammwal’s Commando 2 is doing extremely well at the box office. The film is not in competition with any Bollywood flick but with Hollywood film Logan which stars Hugh Jackman.

Produced by Vipul Shah and directed by Deven Bhojani, the film is the second installment of Commando, which also featured Vidyut in the lead role four years back. The actor is back as Captain Karanvir Singh and this time his agenda is to bring back black money stashed abroad. Apart from Vidyut, the film also stars Adah Sharma, Esha Gupta and Shefali Shah in prominent roles.

In its first weekend, Commando 2 did a business of  Rs 5.14 crore on Friday, Rs 4.42 crore on Saturday and Rs 6.19 crore on Sunday, minting a total of Rs 15.75 crore so far, including the collection from the Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions.

Commando 2 is for action lovers and the fight sequences in the second installment are of another level that will make you go wow. In one of his interviews, Vidyut also revealed that Commando franchise is like a James Bond series and every film is different from the previous one. The actor also went ahead and said that the action sequences in the film are nothing like Bollywood has ever produced.
