Karan Johar to bring his newborn babies Yash and Roohi home after two weeks

Karan Johar has become a proud father of the twins Yash and Roohi. Since then Bollywood celebs are pouring in their heart-wrenching wishes to the new daddy in town. However, fans are excited to get a glimpse of the new born twins. People are speculating about when will the popular director bring the babies home and it seems we have the latest scoop regarding that.

The children were born in the Masrani Hospital in Mumbai on 7th February 2017. The registration details had the name of Karan Johar as the father of the babies whereas the name of the mother has not been mentioned.

As per the reports on a leading daily, Karan’s cute twins Yash and Roohi were prematurely born. They were delivered two months before the due date. Their doctor Dr. Jatin Shah gets a special mention in Karan Johar’s thank you note. It is being said that the babies have been shifted tp Surya Mother and Child Hospital in Santa Cruz (west).

A source close to Karan Johar revealed to the TOI that Yash and Roohi are in NICU. They will stay there for two or more weeks. When the babies were born, they weighed 1.5 kg each. This has clearly led to the extra care of the babies.

In an official statement given, excited Karan Johar stated that Yash and Roohi are the two most wonderful additions to his life. He further added:

“Thanks for providing a warm, loving and nurturing environment to my children before bringing them into this world.”

Karan who owns Dharma Production has named the boy Yash. The name of the boy has been kept on Karan’s late father and well-known director- Yash Johar. For the baby girl, he took inspiration from his mother and named her Roohi.

In the past also, he talked about the idea of adopting kids and in one of the chapters of his book The Unsuitable Boy, he mentioned about the surrogacy.
