In the year 2012, the world got introduced to a mega-talent whose name was Raghav Juyal. Raghav impressed everyone with his impeccable dance style on the popular dance reality show Dance India Dance. Before Raghav came to the stage, no one was really aware of the slow motion dance form. In fact, Raghav’s stage name, Crockroaxz, best describes his dancing style – it is powerful as crocodile and creepy as a cockroach. Though Raghav has proved himself to be an excellent dancer, but have you taken a look at his other side as a host?
Currently, Raghav Juyal is the host of Dance Plus 3 and he seems to be doing a commendable job at it. Raghav has changed the norm of traditional anchoring, something that even Ayushmann Khurrana noticed. After promoting his film Bareilly Ki Barfi on the sets of the show, Ayushmann said, “But the best part of the show for me is Raghav. I love his comic timing and spontaneity. The way he manages to lighten up the mood and brings everything in lighter space. He has truly changed the norms of traditional anchoring. Being a host, he acts really well and is always up for an impromptu dance jig leaving everyone spell bound.”
So what is it about Raghav that even a stalwart choreographer like Remo D’Souza doesn’t eclipse over his presence? There are many talented contestants on the show whose dance has left the viewers awestruck. Apart from them, the mentors- Shakti Mohan, Dharmesh and Punit, too have added to the star power in the show. Yet, it is Raghav for whom people tune to Star Plus every weekend.
Raghav’s talent:
Despite never receiving any kind of formal training in dance, Raghav impresses everyone with his moves. His talent really comes handy on the show and gives a break from the monotony of anchoring. Unlike other hosts on reality shows, Raghav does not only sail on the ship of glamour. While on most shows we see hosts as being clueless, Raghav knows how to perfectly do the job. Being a dancer himself, Raghav keeps the entertainment quotient high with his talent.
Raghav’s sense of humor:
Making people laugh is something which comes naturally to Raghav. He doesn’t need to force out humor, which is as fluid as his dance. There is no over-dramatization in Dance Plus 3 and the credit wholly goes to Raghav. His sense of humor comes around as innocent and that is probably the best part about it.

Raghav’s behavior with celebs:
Raghav’s friendly rapport with celebs has become one of the highlights of the show. When Shah Rukh Khan came on the show, he shook a leg with Crockroaxz and left the latter teary-eyed. That performance would be cherished by viewers of the show for a really long time. Raghav has a knack for gelling well with celebrities and keeping them entertained.
Raghav’s encouragement:
Being a dancer himself, Raghav understands the hard work contestants put in for a three-minute performance. He keeps encouraging the participants and showers them with praise. Since he understands the nuances of dance, Raghav saying things like, “It felt I am watching a movie”, after an act, gives a boost to the confidence of the participants.
Even Raghav’s ardent followers echo our sentiments. Have a look at how social media users heap praises on the star:
It is safe to say Raghav is currently the best host on Indian TV.
