An unexpected reunion happened when the lead actors of famous TV serial Kyunki Saas Bhi Bahu Thi bumped into each other while travelling from the same flight.

The happened when the popular TV actor Ronit Roy met Union Minister Smriti Irani on a Delhi-Mumbai Vistara flight. Roy essayed the role of Mihir Virani and Smriti Irani played the role of Tulsi Virani in one of the longest-running shows in the history of Indian television.

It has been nine years since the last episode of the show was aired and a lot has changed since then. Smriti Irani is now the Minister of textiles whereas Ronit went on to play some remarkable roles in movies as well as on TV. Ronit took to twitter to share his happiness of meeting his former co-actor, he wrote “What are the chances??!!!
So lovely to meet Smriti Irani in the flight.

They both worked together for 6 years while the show was on air and have always been on good terms. Mihir and Tulsi were among the most celebrated couples of Indian television and till date they hold a special place in the hearts of their fans.

For the most part, Smriti played the role of Tulsi but after she had an altercation with the producer of the show Ekta Kapoor she left the show. In her absence, the show saw huge fall in the TRPs and after a year she made a came back on the show as Tulsi.
