Here's why Narendra Modi's die-hard fan Rakhi Sawant predicts Rahul Gandhi as the next PM

Rakhi Sawant is a die-hard Narendra Modi fan, but she cautions him that Rahul Gandhi might succeed him as PM after the 2019 Lok Sabha elections

Rakhi Sawant never shies away from being in the limelight. Known for her angry outbursts before the media, the actress has trained her guns at none other than Prime Minister Narendra Modi. While she openly declared her support for him, she predicted that Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi might become the PM in 2019.

“Modiji, you are a good leader. But some of your party men have resorted to hooliganism. They say,”We are BJP people and don’t mess with us. What if Rahul Gandhi becomes the PM in 2019. If Muslims become angry, then Rahul will surely become the PM,” the 38-year-old actress said in an interview to a leading news website.

Her comments can be rightly attributed to the increase in cow-related attacks in recent times. On July 8, six men ferrying buffaloes in trucks were beaten up in Delhi by cow vigilantes.

While heaping praises on the PM, Rakhi termed him as a messiah of the poor. However, she gave a mixed reaction on his demonetisation move last year, claiming that she is almost without work. Rakhi expressed concern she would be forced to dance at bars in Dubai to earn a living. “Modiji you took a good step but did not think about me.

Anti-Yogi Adityanath

Rakhi Sawant is a die-hard Modi fan but she has no qualms questioning his decision of installing Yogi Adityanath as the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh. “I don’t know what did Modiji see in you to appoint you as the UP CM. You are a staunch Hindu but not everybody can follow Hinduism. I appreciate your step as the cows are roaming fearlessly on the streets.”

“If Indian Muslims are driven out of the country, where will they go? Even Pakistan would not accept them. They will be considered as refugees. If you wish to remain in power for the next 10-20 years, it is necessary that you cater to welfare of all the communities,” she added.

Continuing her tirade at Adityanath, Rakhi said that Anti-Romeo squad should rein in on eve-teasers and rapists, but not the married couples who are having conversations at the park.

“Yogiji had told the members of Anti-Romeo squad to crackdown on the eve-teasers and rapists. But I don’t think he might have ordered them to crack the whip on couples by beating them with hockey sticks. Due to tensions in the households, the married couples are forced to spend time in the parks. Is it fair to beat them?” she added.

An Amit Shah fan

If you thought only the BJP supporters are in awe of party president Amit Shah’s organisational skills, think again. Rakhi confessed her admiration for the PM’s most trusted aide. Here’s what she said about him.
