Kanpur train accident suspect Shamshul Hoda arrested in Nepal

Nepal police and Indian agency arrested ISI agent Shamshul Hoda, who has links with Kanpur train blast.

Shamshul Hoda, the main suspect of Kanpur train derailment, that claimed lives of more than 150, has been arrested at Kathmandu Airport in Nepal. In a joint operation he was held by Nepal police and Indian Inteligence Agency. Hoda is also suspected to be an ISI operative.

The main suspect in Kanpur train sabotage case was arrested after being deported from Dubai to Nepal.

NIA Sources asserted that, “Nepal police and Indian agency arrested Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) agent Shamshul Hoda, who has links with Kanpur train blast.”

Shamshul was wanted by India for planning train accidents and arrested by Nepal Police in double murder case.

Bihar police was probing whether the November 21 Kanpur train derailment that killed 150 people was an act of sabotage with possible ties to Pakistani spy agency ISI.

The Indore-Patna Express went off the tracks near Kanpur Dehat in Pukhrayan on November 21.
