In a dramatic turn of events, ousted Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) minister Kapil Mishra levelled some serious allegations against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on May 7. Mishra asserted that he has witnessed health minister Satyendra Jain giving a bribe of Rs 2 crore to Arvind Kejriwal. However, Manish Sisodia has denied all the allegations and have termed them as “absurd” and “baseless”.
Arvind Kejriwal had removed Kapil Mishra as the water minister of Delhi on Sunday. Just moments before speaking to the media, Kapil Mishra shocked everyone with a cryptic tweet saying, “I have witnessed HIM taking illegal cash.”

-“Saw Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal receive a bribe of Rs 2 crore from Satyendra Jain,” Kapil Mishra said.
-“Kejriwal refused to explain when I confronted him and said such things happen and that few things in politics can only be explained at a later stage,” Mishra alleged.
-“Used to wonder why no one took action against Satyendra Jain despite being aware of his corrupt activities, now I know. Why is Arvind Kejriwal escaping the media? He should come out and make a statement ” he told a leading news channel.
-“Will provide all the necessary evidence of corruption within and outside the party,” Mishra asserted.
-“Satyendra Jain has told me that he settled land deals worth Rs. 50 crore on behalf of Arvind Kejriwal’s relatives. However, I am not sure if he has.” he said.
Kapil Mishra has affirmed that Satyendra Jain will be behind the bars within a few days time and that he will provide all the required documents to the investigation agencies. He added that he had seen Arvind Kejriwal accepting bribe two days earlier and his morals and values did not allow him to keep silent about the issue.
