A 37 year old Yoga teacher allegedly raped an American woman on the pretext of giving her tantrik masssage at a remote village in coastal belt of Pernem in northern Goa.

The accused was arrested on February 7 after the victim filed a complaint alleging that Pratik Kumar Agarwal sexually assaulted her at Korgao on February 2.

” According to the woman, currently on working visa in Goa, the incident occurred on February 2 at Agarwal’s School of Holistic Yoga and Ayurveda at Korgao village, where she had gone for a yogic massage,”  police inspector Rahul Parab told PTI.

The survivor also claimed that the accused has earlier raped a Canadian woman who had visited him for massage, he added.
