Virat Kohli gets to a breezy 100, Twitter PREDICTS he can get 200!

Rohit Sharma too brought up his 50 and in scintillating form as he got 124 not out in the last ODI

Virat Kohli finally won the toss and surprisingly opted to bat first. But as Virat Kohli had already mentioned, he is planning for the 2019 cricket World Cup and keeping that in mind he is willing to take up challenges. India did not get off to a great start as the team lost the rhythm early in form of Shikhar Dhawan.

Dhawan departed at 4 when tried to cut a delivery by Fernando, which found the thick outside edge of the bat. The ball carried all the way to the third man, where the catch was taken by Pushpakumara. But after the initial setback, there was no stopping the Virat Kohli-Rohit Sharma partnership. Virat Kohli was scoring boundaries at will and soon brought up his fifty off 34 balls. Kohli had missed out having a steady run in Palekelle as he was dismissed pretty early in both games.

Kohli did not stop at 50 and kept scoring those boundaries. He also hit a six. Rohit Sharma too brought up his 50 in the meantime. Rohit also seems to be in a scintillating form as he was 124 not out in the last ODI.

Kohli brought up his hundred off 76 balls. Here is how Twitter reacted.

Some even have gone on to the extent of predicting Virat Kohli that will go past Rohit Sharma’s high score of 264.
