Watch: When Virat Kohli got 'flummoxed' by a DRS opted by Bangladesh!

While Murali Vijay was dismissed for 108, Virat Kohli remained unbeaten on 111. With bowlers finding no assistance from the pitch, Bangladesh failed to apply any pressure on the Indian batting.

Virat Kohli, unlike Mahendra Singh Dhoni expresses himself on the field, unlike Dhoni, who prefers staying relaxed witha stoic face.

The one-off Test against Bangladesh is underway, on Day 1 India were comfortably placed at 356 for three, Kohli was batting unbeaten on 111.

The incidence we are focussing on happened, Kohli was batting on 31 at the moment, Taijul Islam was the bowling the 62nd over, the ball was a full length delivery which Virat played, bang from the middle of the bat.

To everyone’s surprise captain of Bangladesh Mushfiqur Rahim after consulting the short leg fielder went for the review at the ‘drop off th. e hat’, keeping Virat bewildered and stunned. That funny part was that the bowler was hardly interested.

This got Kohli amused and he started laughing realising that Bangladesh had lost a review.

Replays showed that the ball had hit the bat and was well away from the pad. Probably what prompted Rahim to go for the review was the sound that came from the left pad brushing the bat.

India finished the day at 356 for 3 with Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane (45*) at the crease.

And as they say big batsman make you pay big, Virat continued on happy run notching up his 16th Test ton. He is not out overnight, and knowing Kohli he will be desperate to make them pay heavily, come Day 2.

It also feels good to see Rahane back to scoring ways, knowing the pressure he was under getting into this match with triple centurion Karun waiting in the wings.
