IPL 2017: What's the mystery behind RCB star player AB de Villiers deleting his tweet?

Not only AB de Villiers but Gujarat Lions deleted the tweet ahead of today's match at Rajkot, but why they did it still remains unknown

In a big blow to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) ahead of their crucial tie against the Gujarat Lions in an Indian Premier League (IPL) 10’s encounter at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot on April 18, their star and in-form batsman AB de Villiers has been ruled out of the match owing to an injury he suffered. At first, De Villiers tweeted in disappointment informing his fans about the unfortunate incident, his tweet read “Disappointed to be missing the match tonight for RCB, due to injury. Good luck to @imVkohli (Virat Kohli) and the team. Lets [sic] go @RCBTweets.”

But, after a while, De Villiers deleted his tweet to everyone’s surprise. Many leading news publishing websites reported that De Villiers will not play due to in the game against GL but De Villiers deleting his tweet has raised many questions. Is he fit to play the next game or the RCB management made him delete the tweet so that they do not change their tactics. Well, to us, it’s still a mystery, the first one of this season.

Meanwhile, last year’s runners-up RCB have been struggling after losing four matches, they have managed to register only one win against Delhi Daredevils (DD) in a close encounter. They are now at the bottom of the eight-team table with two points from five matches.

GL replied to De Villiers tweet with a witty answer as well.

On the other hand, GL, led by Suresh Raina, are currently at the seventh place in the ongoing 10th edition of the cash-rich Twenty20 cricket league. They have won only one out of three matches in the tournament so far and will be looking to turntables in this match.
