IPL Video: Watch MS Dhoni's magic throw proving why he is the best wicket keeper of the generation!

MS Dhoni once again proved in the in the game against Gujarat Lions that he cannot be ignored so easily.

Though Mahendra Singh Dhoni is being criticised for not performing with the bat in the recent times but nobody could deny that his on-field heroics are still the best in the world. In the game number 39 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 10 between the Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) and Gujarat Lions (GL), Ben Stokes emerged as the match-winner after he played a magnificent knock of 103 of 63 balls but MS Dhoni once again proved in the first innings that he cannot be ignored so easily.

After winning the toss, Gujarat batted first and despite a fine start, their batting line-up terribly failed in the later overs. In the last over, the score was 161 for 7 while the Basil Thampi and Dinesh Karthik were at the crease. Both were looking to score more in the leftover balls so that the total score could be made more competitive. ‘

Jaidev Unadkat was the bowler who delivered the fourth ball of the over while Thampi had the strike. Thampi missed the ball and rushed towards the non-striker’s end in order steal a single. Meanwhile, the ball was grabbed by MS Dhoni who already had taken off his right-hand’s keeping glove. Making no mistake, Dhoni’s throw hit the stumps directly and it earned another scalp to RPS as Dinesh Karthik didn’t cross the crease and got run out.

The on-field umpires went to the TV umpire for the referral but Karthik didn’t wait and moved towards the pavilion. He was sure that he had not made it and was out for 29 off 26 balls.

Gujarat could only score one more run and put a total of 162 runs on the board. In return, Ben Stokes outplayed Gujarat Lions with his massive 103 runs off 63 and Pune won the game by 5 wickets.
