Old Vogue India cover with Shah Rukh Khan goes viral for 'photoshop fail', Twitter cannot stop laughing

Vogue decided to dedicate its cover to King Khan as he turned 50 that year but in all that excitement, made a horribly funny photoshop mistake. Read on.

An old cover of Vogue India carrying Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s photograph has re-emerged and a noted digital journalist has pointed out a grave photoshop mistake in it. Iva Dixit, social media co-ordinator at The New Yorker posted a tweet on her handle pointed out how the said photograph had been haunting her for over two years now. The Vogue India issue, which came out in November 2015, had Shah Rukh Khan on its cover with a model. Vogue decided to dedicate its cover to King Khan as he turned 50 that year but in all that excitement, photoshopped six fingers and a thumb on his hand. Yes, you read that right. Six fingers!

Iva wrote on her Twitter “It’s haunted me for 2 years and today I finally counted and confirmed there’s an extra photoshopped finger on Shah Rukh Khan’s Vogue cover.”

Iva has posted the tweet with the photo of the cover circling Shah Rukh Khan’s hand in one of them and another one, a zoomed-in photograph of the same and you can actually count Shah Rukh Khan’s five fingers. Whoever photoshopped the image definitely had brilliant skills. *sarcasm intended*

Reactions started pouring in and some people thanked Iva for confirming that this actually happened while some were just left in splits,  and made jokes about how ‘it was not a finger but extra fat”.

Here’s the tweet and reactions:
