Dogs are the best thing to have happened to the mankind. Period. They have nothing but love to offer. A rescued dog who was horribly abused by her owner in the past went on to become a hero after she saved a 3-year-old girl’s life.
A little dog named Peanut led his owner to a 3-year-old child lying naked in the chilling weather and saved her life. Delta Animal Shelter took to Facebook to share how Peanut who has a traumatising past helped the police a save a little girl’s life. The post further states that Peanut came to them about a year ago with 2 broken legs and ribs but had now found a loving home. The family who has now adopted Peanut also wrote to the shelter proudly telling them about how Peanut was a lifesaver.
Earlier this week, Peanut went home and started barking trying to tell their owner something while signaling them to take him out. Peanut then took her owner and led him to the girl in full speed. Her owner found the girl and covered her with a shirt and informed the police who rushed her to the hospital. Peanut’s owner further saif that all that the girl could say then was “doggie”.
She was running up and down the stairs, barking and yelping. She then went and got my husband, who was in the garage working on some projects, and alerted him that she wanted to go outside. He let her outside where she went barreling into the field behind our house at full speed. My husband followed her and to his surprise, he found a naked, shivering, 3 year old girl curled up in a ball. He called 911 and reported the incident. By the time the ambulance and police arrived, the little girl could only say one thing – “doggie,” Peanut’s owner said.

Delta County Sheriff’s office also took to Facebook to share the incident and said after investigation they found that the 3-year-old was living under unhealthy surroundings and that she was removed from the house along with another female.
