Indian skipper Virat Kohli’s love for dogs is no secret. Time and again he has come out to proclaim his love for the four-legged fur babies. Be it urging people to not harms animals during Diwali or batting for the adoption of military dogs, Virat Kohli has been extremely vocal about his support for the canines.
This time, Kohli has taken his love for dogs to another level as he has gone ahead and adopted not 1, not 2 not 5 but 15 tragically injured animals.
And we are not even joking. According to a post by Charlie’s Animal Rescue Centre (CARE), Virat Kohli visited these dogs in need and spent and a lot of time with them. He will now be taking the responsibility of these deprived dogs who have been rescued by this foundation. With this, Kohli is only trying to encourage people to adopt instead of shop.
“Virat Kohli made Easter special for all the rescued animals at CARE, in addition to passively adopting 15 of the most tragically injured animals. I hope this receives plenty coverage and people hear the message loud and clear – ‘Adopt, Don’t Shop’ and ‘Rescued is the Best Breed,” Danielle Dsilva said in a Facebook post.
