India’s premium dish-washing bar- Vim recently launched a new ad and it is all the motivation that we could hope for.
Vim’s ad ‘Afroz’ is an inspiring story of liberation, change, hopes and dreams. It is the story of Afroz Jahan, a wife, a mother and the Gram Pradhan of Nizampur, Malhaur.
In the ad, Afroz shares her story of how her husband has inspired her to run for the election of Gram Pradhan.
“My wife is more educated than me. I am adept in social work. I felt after she wins, it will be far easier for both of us to do social work,” shares her husband Sadiq Ali.
“Drains, roads and toilets have been cleaned and built anew. Since she has taken charge, she has done good work,” share the residents.
“Seeing her, we feel confident of progressing ourselves,” shares another resident.
With the new ad, Vim hopes to break stereotypes and redefine the role of women, not just as a homemaker but also as a governing authority.
