Eight injured in IED blast in poll-bound Manipur
IED blast took place inside a residence of NPF candidate of Phungyar in Manipur's Leoshiyo Keishing area in Langol Lanthungching.
About eight people were injured in an IED blast that took place inside a residence of NPF candidate of Phungyar in Manipur’s Leoshiyo Keishing area in Langol Lanthungching on March 2, two days before the first phase of the assembly elections.
All the injured persons have been taken to nearby hospital for treatment. No one has claimed the responsibility of the blast yet.
Police personnel have reached the spot. The state will witness the assembly polls in two phase, March 4 and on March 8. The polling will be held to elect the 60 members.
