Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 19 addressed a rally in Uttar Pradesh’s Fatehpur where he said ‘vanvas’ of UP’s development must end now and as the country is moving ahead at a fast pace, so must the state. Attacking Samajwadi Party PM said, the party has spent huge amount of money given for the welfare on their advertisement.
Taking a dig at Samajwadi-Congress alliance, PM said, they both knew they are drowning and if they come together they can try to save themselves from losing. “You insulted Ram Manohar Lohia by joining hands with a party that has looted the country”, said PM Modi.
Commenting on the deteriorating law and order in the state he said that the condition is so bad that Supreme Court had to interfere in Gayatri Prajapati matter to make a station lodge an FIR.Why is the policing system so inefficient in UP? Why are complaints not registered? What work culture is it, asked PM. Samajwadi is least concerned about improving law and order situation in UP and urge people to elect a government that would ensure safety of people.
If electricity is given during Ramzan than it should be provided on Diwali also, there should not be any favouritism on the bases of religion or caste, Modi added.
