In a massive blow to the Samajwadi Party- Congress alliance, Bharatiya Janata Party is set to register a historic win in the state of Uttar Pradesh. BJP is gearing to bounce back to power in UP after 15 long years. With the party set for a landslide win with 300 plus seats, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is clearly “overjoyed” at the turn of events.
Additionally, BJP is all set to form a government in Uttarakhand urging Chief Minister Harish Rawat to tender his resignation. Expressing gratitude over the massive in both the states, PM Modi went on to thank the people of the state for their “unprecedented” support and volunteers for putting hard work into the entire process.

Meanwhile, SAD-BJP did not perform as expected in the Punjab assembly elections and have managed to win only 17 seats together out of 117 seats, where BJP won 3 and SAD won 14. In Uttarakhand, BJP is looking to win 57 seats whereas Congress has managed to get only 11 out of 71 seats.
