As campaigning in UP is in its last leg, PM Narendra Modi addressed an election rally in his constituency Varanasi where he targeted opposition and said that for political gain some parties questioned surgical strikes and misled nation on One Rank One Pension (OROP).
Earlier, he held roadshow that started from Pandeypur and concluded at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith . As his constituency is all set to go for polls on March 8, PM has been extensively campaigning in the city. Apart from PM, various BJP leaders and union ministers are also in the temple town.
PM has started his second road show from Pandeypur. This time the focus is on the areas where Samajwadi party had won seats. PM’s 5km road show is expected to last for 4 hours.
On March 4, PM Modi kick-started the high-voltage campaign for the seventh phase of Uttar Pradesh elections, where he did a roadshow in the temple town. Later in the evening he addressed rallies in Jaunpur and Varanasi.
