The Diwali festivities are on in the entire country. And our Bollywood glitterati too celebrated the big festival of lights with great fervour. While Salman Khan celebrated the festival in Goa with the family, Bachchans too kept their legacy of a grand party at Jalsa intact. Rani Mukerji Chopra and family celebrated the day with friends including Manish Malhotra, Karan Johar and Vaibhavi Merchant, among others.
Aamir Khan too threw a lavish Diwali party at his place in Mumbai and hosted the night with wife Kiran Rao and little Azad. The guests who showed up include Sunny Leone with hubby Daniel Weber, Javed Aktar and wife Shabana Azmi, Aditi Rao Hyadri, Vidya Balan with hubby Sidharth Roy Kapur, Masaba Gupta with hubby Madhu Mandela, Kabir Khan and wife Mini Mathur, Sachin Tendulkar, Mukesh Ambani-Nita Ambani, Fatima Sana Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra, Farah Khan-Shirish Kunder, Farhan Akhtar, R Madhavan, Pritam Chakraborty, Shraddha Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, and Sanjay Dutt-Manyata Dutt.

On work front, one of the most influential Khans of Bollywood is gearing up for the release of his upcoming — Dangal. The film has Aamir playing the role of a Haryanvi wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, it’s a biopic which also features Sakshi Tanvar, Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Sheikh in pivotal roles. The trailer of the film has already garnered enough attention. The emotional quotient in the film focuses on the father-daughter relationship.
Dangal is slated for release on December 23. The music of the film is composed by Pritam Chakraborty and the title track is sung by Daler Mehndi. Watch the trailer of the film here:
