Singer Adnan Sami and his wife Roya Sami have been blessed with a baby girl and daddy Adnan is on cloud nine. The couple welcomed their first child, with utmost joy and they have named her ‘Medina Sami Khan’. Undoubtedly, it is one of the most unique and beautiful names one can ever come across.
Roya and Adnan tied the nuptial knot in 2010 and she happens to be his third wife. The singer was previously married to actress Zeba Bakhtiar in 1993, with whom he had a son named Azaan Sami Khan. They divorced after three years. Adnan was also married to Sabah and their marriage lasted only for one year.
Adnan took to Twitter and shared the good news with his fans and well-wishers and wrote: “Roya and I have been blessed with an angelic baby girl. We’ve named her Medina Sami Khan. Prayed for a daughter. Overjoyed! Daddy’s little girl.” Adnan Sami also said that his daughter is the most incredible thing that has happened to him. Adnan, who is of Pakistani origin, was granted Indian citizenship in 2016 that resulted in a barrage of criticism from Pakistan.
Trained in Indian and Western classical music and known for rapid playing on the piano, Adnan is popular for hit non-film songs like Kabhi to nazar milao, Bheegi bheegi raaton mein and Tera chehra. He also sang for Bollywood films like Ajnabee, Saathiya, Joggers’ Park, Lucky: No Time for Love and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
“Both Roya and I always wanted a daughter and she is already my lucky charm. I have found a new inspiration for my music through her and she is going to be the center of my world. Both mother and child are healthy and are doing fine.” Adnan said in a statement.
