Mahavir Singh Phogat, wrestler turned coach wants to participate in Khatron Ke Khiladi. Yes, you heard it right. He wants to make a mark on the adventure reality show. Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan, who made Dangal on his life, was a Blockbuster at the Box Office.
According to the reports published by a leading daily, Phogat said “If given an opportunity, I would be delighted to do Khatron Ke Khiladi because I am both physically and mentally strong.” Phogat has been awarded the Dronacharya Award by the Government of India.
He is the father and coach of Geeta Phogat and Babita Phogat, who won India’s first gold medal in women’s wrestling in the 55 kg freestyle category at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, and the first Indian woman wrestler to have qualified for the Olympics, and Babita Kumari, who won a bronze medal at the 2012 World Wrestling Championships, and won the gold medal in 2014 Commonwealth Games.
Geeta is currently participating in the latest season of the show which is hosted by Rohit Shetty.
Hosted by Filmmaker Rohit Shetty Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 will premiere on July 22 on Colors channel.
