After Raabta‘s dismal performance at the Box Office, Sushant Singh Rajput says failure doesn’t scare him
Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon starrer Raabta failed to leave an impression on the silver screen. Helmed by Dinesh Vijan, was a letdown for the audience. So far the film has done a business of Rs 5.61 crore on the opening day, while on the second day it raked in Rs 5.11 crore. The film somehow managed to cross the Rs 10 crore mark at the domestic market. Raabta which means connection did not garner positive reviews from the critics either.
Commenting on the film’s performance at the Box Office, the lead actor of the film Sushant Singh told IANS that the failure of any film doesn’t scare him. He said “the failure of a film doesn’t scare me. But I am aware it has repercussion. It doesn’t scare me because I started acting when I quit Delhi College of Engineering and I was doing theatre… I was staying with six guys in a single room.”

“I used to get Rs 250 per play that I used to do… I used to dance in the background and I used to be so excited… I still am with all the acknowledgment and money… I can match that,” he added.
The “M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story” star said: “When I was doing theate or TV, I was thinking that ‘Okay, I have to slog right now because one day I will be successful’. I was successful then… Be it theatre, TV or films I don’t care… As long as I act.”
The film’s story is of two lovers and the tale of their reincarnation. The film also stars Rajkummar Rao, Jim Sarbh, Varun Sharma in pivotal roles.
