Akshay Kumar, who is currently shooting for his film, Gold in England visited the Lords Internation Stadium to support Indian Women’s cricket team during the all important World Cup final against England. After India lost the match, the actor landed in a controversy for holding the Indian Flag upside down while cheering team India in the stadium.
Kumar was also trolled on the social media with a bunch of people including Kamaal R Khan questioning his Canadian citizenship. After facing a backlash, the actor has apologized on twitter and said that he didn’t intend to offend anybody.

After India’s loss against England at the World Cup final, the actor interacted with the team members and even tweeted that the Indian Women’s cricket team has made the country proud.

Akshay Kumar was recently awarded a National Award for his performance in Rustom. The actor is now gearing up for the release of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha which is slated to hit the big screen during the Independence Day 2017 weekend. The film is based on Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan. The movie is directed by Sree Narayan Singh and produced by Neeraj Pandey.
Recently, Remo D’Souza found a pen-drive containing full film at a gym and he brought the same to Akshay Kumar’s. The crime branch of India was informed about the same and they took care of the entire issue thereby preventing the film from getting leaked on the digital platform.
Apart from Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Akshay Kumar’s upcoming films include Padman, 2.0, Gold and Salman Khan – Karan Johar’s yet untitled film. Akshay Kumar is also in talks with film-maker Neeraj Pandey for Crack, which is said to be a super natural thriller.
