Academy Award winning, actor Leonardo DiCaprio turned 42 today and wishes poured in from all over the world. And guess what, our very own Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan too wished The Revenant actor on his birthday.
“Happy birthday Leonardo di Caprio for the 11th .. colleague in ‘GATSBY’, a gentleman and a concerned ‘climate change’ actor ..” the 75-year-old veteran actor. The duo worked together in 2013 Australian-American drama The Great Gatsby.
Based on F Scott Fitzgerald’s novel of the same name, the film was based on the tale of a millionaire Jay Gatsby played by DiCaprio. It also starred Tobey Maguire, Carrey Mulligan in pivotal roles. Big B played a Jewish business magnate Meyer Wolfsheim in the film directed by Baz Luhrmann. Both Bachchan and Dicaprio happen to be good friends with the latter having expressed his wish to work with him again.

“Mr Bachchan impressed me immensely by not just his talent and his ability to act, but what a gentleman he was. I was honoured to work with him,” the Inception actor had said way back in 2014. Bachchan had congratulated DiCaprio when he won the Oscar for The Revenant last year.

Amitabh Bachchan is busy shooting for Sarkaar 3, the third installment of the film with the same name directed by Ram Gopal Varma. On the other hand, DiCaprio recently was featured in his home production Before the Flood, a documentary dealing with the hazards of climate change.
