Qandeel Baloch, the late Pakistani actress and model needs no introduction today. She gained the limelight in 2013 and soon became an internet sensation. Qandeel always kept the buzz going around her till she was killed by his own brother in deep sleep. But she is now back to make the headlines. The teaser of her biopic, Baaghi has been launched which depicts a very ambitious Qandeel and what sort of traumatic situations she came across in life.
Pakistani actress and Hindi Medium fame Sabar Qamar will be seen portraying the character of the model on the big screen. The teaser describes the turmoils of her life and Saba seems to have managed to show it in front on the camera quite well. The series will be aired on Urdu1 channel.
Qandeel came across many unfortunate series of events in her life. Her brother Waseem Azeem confessed to the murder saying she was bringing disrepute to the family’s honor. Check out the official film’s teaser here:
Qandeel gained the limelight when she auditioned for Pakistan Idol in 2013. She was one of the top 10 most searched persons on the internet in Pakistan. She was also praised and criticised for the sexual content of her videos and posts.
She also made her presence felt in India too. Qandeel posted a video proposing cricketer Virat Kohli. The video soon went viral on social media.
