The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards took place in London on Sunday (Monday morning in India) and once again La La Land swept the maximum number of awards.
Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone’s La La Land won five awards — Best Film, Best Director, Best Actress, Cinematography and Original Music. However, Lead actor Ryan Gosling lost the Best Actor award to Manchester By The Sea’s Casey Affleck. Apart from La La Land, actor Dev Patel won the Best Actor in Supporting Role award for Lion.
