Akanksha Sharma left Bigg Boss 10 house last weekend. The woman who entered the show as one of the commoners is cricketer Yuvraj Singh’s sister-in-law. Akansha was married to Yuvraj’s brother Zorawar but their marriage lasted for four months. While entering the show, Akanksha had alleged that her mother-in-law, Shabnam Singh was one of the reasons behind her broken marriage. She alleged that Shabnam had even stayed in her room during her trip to Goa with her husband.
Now that Akanksha is out, Shabnam Singh has planned to file a defamation suit against her. While talking to a leading daily, she claimed that Akanksha’s exit from the show proves that people are not ready to buy her false statements against Yuvi’s family. For Shabnam, there’s an outrage among Yuvi’s fans for how her ex-daughter-in-law maligned the image of their family. Mentioning how Yuvraj doesn’t give importance to such matters and like to stay away from people who want to cash-in on his name in a negative way, Shabnam said:
“My son has given his blood, sweat and tears to the nation, this is insulting to him. Yuvi hasn’t told me anything, he doesn’t get into these things but just one tweet from him and there will be lot of outrage. He prefers keeping quiet. Also, he’s busy with his upcoming wedding and we don’t want to give her publicity. I would have definitely helped her if she’d asked for it, if she wanted to do something in life. It is her right and dignity. But she can’t badmouth us this way. Her lawyers are misguiding her.”
Shabnam has even hired a Chandigarh-based lawyer, Daman Bir Sobti, who has confirmed that the legal proceedings against Akanksha are on. Talking to the daily, he revealed that they have decided to use the video footage from Bigg Boss 10 to prove Akanksha’s ill will against the family.
Earlier, during her stay in the house in a conversation with her co-contestants Gaurav Chopra, Akanksha has stated that the Singh family didn’t keep her well. She told him that she had to struggle to get a small amount of Rs 3000 per month from their in-laws. Asserting that this claim is false, Sobti told the daily that “apart from giving her cash, Shabnam used to give her Rs 20,000 through RTGS every month.”

Meanwhile, rumours also have it that Akanksha’s exit from the controversial reality TV show is due to Yuvraj Singh’s wedding. The cricketer is going to get married to actress Hazel Keech in November this year and Akanksha’s stay in the house had the possibility to provide a bad name to the family during such a crucial time.
