Aamir Khan continues to weave his magic through Dangal’s success on Box Office. Even after the fourth week, his film is on spree to break records. But this time he is not in news for Dangal, rather for giving away his Christmas weekend to Salman Khan. Reportedly, Salman Khan wasn’t able to get a perfect release date for his Tiger Zinda Hai. As Christmas belongs to Aamir, Eid is for Salman, but this time his Kabir Khan-directorial — Tubelight, is scheduled for the slot. And so, Salman borrowed Christmas weekend from Aamir for Tiger Zinda Hai release.
According to a source quoted by BollywoodHungama.com, “Salman asked Aamir if the latter had anything scheduled for Christmas 2017.” Aamir has no releases in 2017 and his upcoming film is Yash Raj’s Thugs Of Hindostan which is expected to be released in 2018. Aamir happily told Salman, ‘This Christmas is all yours.’ This would be Salman’s first Christmas release.”

Salman Khan-starrer Tiger Zinda Hai is the sequel to Ek Tha Tiger. Also, it is expected that Rajkumar Hirani’s biopic on Sanjay Dutt will release on Christmas this year, which makes a big clash with Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai. With these two big movies releasing on the same weekend, it would be interesting to see which one will the audience pick for the first day first show. This time it is going to be a double treat for Bhai’s fan as his movie and birthday will fall in the same week.
Aamir has no releases in 2017 and his upcoming film, Thugs of Hindostan is scheduled for 2018. He will be sharing the screen space with Amitabh Bachchan for the first time.
