After playing a plethora of roles on the silver screen and getting appreciated for many of them, Kangana Ranaut might soon don another hat. If reports are to believed, Kangana would direct a film after she finishes her project Rani Lakshmibai. The diva whose much-anticipated film Rangoon released last Friday to mixed reviews. She is also busy with Ketan Mehta’s Simran which is slated for a release in September, this year.
Reports about Kangana becoming the captain of the ship is particularly amazing since she is the only leading actress of current times to think of doing so. A source in the know told a leading daily, “What is further remarkable is the fact that she is doing this when she is at the top of her game. She could have signed multiple films as an actress after Tanu Weds Manu Returns, but she decided to wait. There is a very good probability that she will be casting herself as the central protagonist in the film, hence, playing the dual role of a director and actress.”
