Director Rohit Shetty, who is busy shooting for his upcoming film Golmaal Again heaved a sigh of relief when the makers of movie 2.0 starring superstar Rajinikanth has decided to push back the release date to 2018.
During the launch of a reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi season eight Rohit who has been roped in as the host of the show told the media that he is really grateful that the makers have postponed the release date to 2018, as it would have affected his upcoming film Golmaal Again.
2.0 starring Akshay Kumar and Rajinikanth together for the first time is a sequel to the 2010 Tamil film Enthiran. It was supposed to be release on Diwali this year with Ajay Devgn starrer Golmaal Again, but reportedly citing better improvement in the visual effects, the makers have now decided to push the release date of the film to 2018.
Golmaal Again, which is the fourth installment of the Golmaal franchise directed by Rohit Shetty stars Tabu, Parineeti Chopra, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Kunal Kemmu and Tusshar Kapoor. The previous three installments featured Kareena Kapoor Khan, Rimi Sen and Sharman Joshi among many others.
In the upcoming comedy drama, Ajay will be seen reprising his role as Gopal. This is not the first time Rohit is working with Ajay Devgn in Golmaal Again, the duo earlier worked together in Singham.
