Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan visit Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force, show deepest respect to them – See photos

Akshay Kumar and Varun Dhawan visited the headquarters of the Sino-India border guarding force ITBP. Akshay is gearing up for his next Toilet: Ek Prem Katha

Akshay Kumar, who is gearing up for the release of his next Toilet: Ek Prem Katha on Wednesday, August 9, visited the headquarters of the Sino-India border guarding force ITBP. He was present in New Delhi for the promotion of his film. The actor met jawans and officers of the mountain-warfare trained force and said he empathised with the hardships faced by the troops and will take steps to help them get an enhanced recognition.

He also took to twitter to shows his respect for their undying spirit and posted a few pictures of his visit to ITBP headquarters. Sharing the pictures, he wrote: “Lovely visiting the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force this morning. Nothing but the deepest respect for their never- dying spirit!.”

Akshay Kumar patriotism is not only evident in real life but also shows in the films he does. He never leaves a chance to shower his love for those who serve the country. And after checking out his latest pictures, we must say that Akshay is a true hero, as he took some time out for them from his busy schedule.

Talking about the visit, an officer said that Akshay was also shown a display of equipment and gadgets used by the force during operations as he interacted with the personnel and said he also would visit the forward posts of the paramilitary in the future.

Earlier this year, Kumar, along with Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, had launched an online government portal called ‘Bharatkeveer’ where any person can donate funds to the families of those Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) personnel who were killed in the line of duty.

Slated to release this Friday, August 11, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha also features Bhumi Pednekar opposite Akshay Kumar. This is the first time both Bhumi and Akshay will be seen sharing the screen space together. It also features Anupam Kher in a pivotal role.
