Akshay Kumar's Jolly LLB 2 races ahead of Salman Khan's Sultan. Here's how

Akshay Kumar starrer Jolly LLB 2 has gained highest TV rating points for a Hindi film, leaving behind Salman Khan's Sultan

Akshay Kumar-starrer Jolly LLB 2 turned out to be a commercial success in the beginning of this year. Directed by Subhash Kapoor, the film raked in more than Rs 100 crore at the Box Office. Now, the courtroom drama has created a new record. To be precise, it has beaten Salman Khan’s Sultan in terms of television rating points (TRP). According to the statement by Fox Star Studios, Jolly LLB 2 registered 3.83 points ahead of Sultan that had recorded 3.32 points. It was followed by Varun Dhawan’s Dishoom, The Jungle Book and Kaabil.

Here is the list of the highest TV ratings garnered in 2017:
Jolly LLB 2: 3.83
Sultan: 3.32
Dishoom: 2.79
The Jungle Book: 2.39
Kaabil: 2.37

The news will indeed sound pleasant to the ears of Akshay Kumar, who recently won his first National Award for his role of a navy officer in Rustom. Upon its theatrical release, Jolly LLB 2 received a thumbs up from both the critics and the viewers. It is the second instalment of the Jolly LLB, the first one featuring Arshad Warsi was released in 2013.
