Khiladi Akshay Kumar is one person who has always been vocal about all the major issues in our country. From condemning the Bengaluru mass molestation incident to lending support on other unfortunate happenings, the actor has time and again proved that he is a real life hero.
The actor took to social media to protest against the gruesome molestation incident and posted a video on Facebook expressing his anger in the whole incident and said: After seeing all this on TV, I don’t know how you people felt, but I could not control my anger. The society which does not respect women does not deserve to be called a community of human beings.
He not only talks about women safety, but Akshay has always said that he holds a special place and respect for the Indian soldiers as well. As we all gear up to celebrate the 68th Republic Days on January 26, the actor has a special plan to honour these brave heroes of our country.
The actor recently took to Twitter and posted a video in which he talked about helping the families of the martyrs financially. He said:
There are many of us who want to help the families of the martyrs, but we don’t know how to reach them. So let’s try and come up with a website with the help of government, in which the bank account details of these families will be listed. The idea is to donate money as per your wish directly to these accounts and once the amount reaches Rs 15 lakhs in each account, it will automatically be closed and removed from the website. This way, we can help them and contribute to the society.
He further added:
This idea is directly from my heart. It might be a really good one or can go terribly wrong, but let’s try and get it implemented as soon as possible.
Here’s what the actor wrote on Twitter:
Here I am standing up AGAIN for something I truly believe in coz THEIR well-being MATTERS to ME. I’d love to know if it does to YOU as well? pic.twitter.com/3Y5NPmTJhg
