Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan’s Badrinath Ki Dulhania is rocking the box office with its amazing collections even after four weeks of its release. After becoming the fourth film of this year to cross Rs 100 crore mark, the movie is still on a money making spree.
Made on an estimated budget of Rs 45-50 crore, the movie has done an impressive collection not only domestically but in the international market as well. In the fourth week of its release, Badrinath Ki Dulhania has done a business of Rs 50 lakhs on Friday, Rs 72 lakhs on Saturday and Rs 89 lakhs on Sunday, minting a total of Rs 114.24 crores so far.
With its current figures, the film has not only managed to make its place amongst the Top 40 – All Time Grossers domestically but has also crossed Rs 200 crore mark worldwide. Filmmaker Karan Johar, who is also the producer of the film took to Twitter and thanked the audience for giving so much love to Badrinath Ki Dulhania. He wrote: Winning hearts worldwide!!We are grateful for all the love!
Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film is the second installment of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and this is for the third time that Alia and Varun have paired up for a movie. It tells the love story of Badri and Vaidehi and how their love conquers all the odds.
From Alia-Varun’s mind-blowing performance to its songs, the audience connected with Badri and his Dulhania instantly. Though the collection of Badrinath Ki Dulhania slowed down after the release of Taapsee Pannu’s Naam Shabana, it still managed to do a decent business at the box office.
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and wrote:

Well, it will be interesting to see if it will be able to surpass Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees‘ collection which was Rs 260 crore.
