Alia Bhatt’s relationship status has become a talking point these days. Every now and then, various sections of the media are obsessed with guessing game as to who she is going around with. The 24-year-old actor who will be seen in Badrinath Ki Dulhania was asked how she wants to get married. And the answer she gave will shock you. Alia said she would prefer a court marriage followed by a reception. Isn’t it strange given the fact that Alia’s last marriage-based film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania centered around a grand wedding.
“I have not decided yet, but I may prefer a shant shaadi (peaceful wedding). It could be a court marriage, followed by a reception,” she told Deccan Chronicle. “When I am going to marry is still not known! The day is indeed far. Meanwhile, I am keen on doing films with different concepts,” she added further. Speculations about the Udta Punjab actor dating Sidharth Malhotra have been doing rounds. Recently, a news website reported that during the Filmfare Awards, she was left blushing on the slightest mention of her Kapoor & Sons co-star. Alia’s career is on a high these days following success in her professional life.
She bagged the Filmfare Award for Best Actor (Female) for her portrayal of a drug abuse hit migrant worker in Udta Punjab. Her film Badrinath Ki Dulhania alongside Varun Dhawan is scheduled to hit the theatres on 10 March.
She will also share screen space with Amitabh Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor in Dragon.
