When the entire globe was celebrating Valentine’s Day going on romantic dates with their partners, Amitabh Bachchan went on an outing with granddaughter Aradhya. Taking to his blog, Mr Bachchan wrote how Aradhya expressed a desire to eat pizza and the entire Bachchan family obliged. He also added how Aradhya’s perfection to order pizza made him proud.
Miss Aradhaya has quietly and in most dignified manner, sat at her table, spread the napkin across her legs, ordered the menu by drawing the attention of the waiter .. giving instructions of just how crisp she wanted her Pizza to be .. and when it has arrived has most politely turned to the waitress, thanked her for the dish and then .. ‘wish you a very happy Valentine’s Day, wrote Mr. Bachchan in the blog.

Doling out more details about the day, Amitabh Bachchan wrote the day with a long drive. On reaching home, when Big B asked Aradhya to thank everyone, she replied, I should not thank all, all must thank me for it was I that suggested we must go out for dinner.

Amitabh Bachchan has on many occasions expressed his love for Aradhya. When Aradhya turned 5 in November, Big B wrote she is the most beautiful granddaughter. Back then, he had written:
The most beautiful granddaughter in the whole wide world celebrates her birth today though she turns 5, her countenance lingers close to 55 ! The children of this generation are so .. extraordinarily bright, self assured, and knowing all that happens around them .. and more .. Innocence on their faces is nothing to go by .. they know they have they are accomplished .. no coochi–cooing shall ever be able to get a response that a coochi-coo, would contemplate to give ..
Now, this incident is another insight into the bond they share.
