Anushka Sharma, who is gearing up for her next Jab Harry Mer Sejal released the first look of her upcoming project titled PARI. Contradicting the term PARI meaning an Angel, Anushka looks haunted in the first look. Her big and gloomy eyes give you goosebumps. The first look of the Phillauri star is dark and leaves you haunted for a while. The horror flick is slated to release in early 2018.
Revealing her first look from the movie, Anushka took to micro-blogging site Twitter and tweeted: “Pari…First Look”

Going by the poster, one can see Anushka possessed by an evil spirit. So it will be interesting to watch her playing a totally different character in the film.
The film is helmed by debutant Prosit Roy and will be produced under the banners of Clean Slate Films owned by Anushka Sharma and her brother Karnesh Sharma and KriArj Entertainment.

After films like Phillauri, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Sultan in 2016, Anushka has proved herself to be one of the leading ladies of Bollywood. Anushka, who was last seen as a ghost in Anshai Lal dictatorial Phillauri will next be seen in her never seen before avatar.
On the work front, she will next be seen opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Jab Harry Met Sejal. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the film will mark the third collaboration of SRK and Anushka after their films Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Jab Tak Haj Jaan. In the film see will be seen essaying the role of a Gujrati girl named Sejal, while Shah Rukh will be seen essaying the character of a Punjabi guide – Harvinder Singh Nehra aka Harry. Recently, the film embroiled into the controversy over its title. It is slated to release on August 4.
