Are Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif the new BFFs in town?

It looks like Deepika Padukone’s New Year resolution is letting bygones be bygones. After praising Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif for being the craziest and most entertaining celebs on Koffee With Karan, the actress has now made another revelation about the two.

Deepika is often been in news for her not-so-friendly relations with Katrina and Anushka but after her much affectionate comments, it seems like a possible friendship is on cards. Recently, in an interview with IANS, Deepika Padukone was asked if there’s always competition between actresses rather than friendship. To which the actress replied:

I wouldn’t say it is a competition. But sometimes you have a certain feeling for other people and they don’t necessarily feel the same way about you. But that’s okay.

In fact, Deepika went ahead and further added:

I am extremely fond of Katrina and Anushka professionally and personally. I wish them all the best.

While there have never been reports about any kind of coldness between Anushka and Deepika, this hasn’t been the case with Kat. Mostly due to the ‘ex-angle’ of Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika and Katrina have never been known to share amazing rapport.

Well, we really hope that this change of heart proves to be the ice-breaker for the three. On the work front, Deepika is all set to make her mark globally with her much-awaited Hollywood debut xXx: Return of Xander Cage.
