A complaint of assault has been filed against Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal. The complainant, Shobhit, claimed to be Arjun’s fan. He went to the night club where Arjun was playing a DJ on Saturday. He tried to click a picture of him, when the actor got furious. Arjun snatched away his camera, threw it and ended up injuring the fan.
As of now no FIR has been lodged against the actor but media reports have it that Shobhit might go to police station on Sunday.
The actor is currently busy with his film Daddy, which is a biopic on underworld don Arun Gawli. He plays the titular role in this film which chronicles the life of Gawli and how he went on to become one of the most dreaded personalities of Mumbai.
A few months ago the first look of the film was released and everyone was in awe of Arjun’s resemblance to Gawli. Speaking about the film, Arjun had earlier said, “To make this kind of a movie, you have to go to people of this world, talk to them and that’s what we did. We also had to get the rights and permission from the family; making it clear to them that this is not something which is just going to be a propaganda around the character. It took a lot of time to convince the family.”

The National award-winning actor also revealed how it was like to meet Gawli. He said, “When Arun Gawli came out on parole and we had the opportunity to meet him and he said he doesn’t want to be shown as a hero. He asked us to tell his story the way it is.”

Arjun said that the reason he made this movie was to tell how people chose a different path for survival. He questioned the system and asked if it really let one change?
The film which is helmed by Ashim Ahluwalia is expected to release this year. Arjun is also the producer of this biopic.
