Entertainment is a package that consists of dance, drama, happy and sad moments and it seems Bareilly Ki Barfi has all of it. The trailer of Kriti Sanon, Rajkummar Rao and Ayushmann Khurrana released a short while ago and it looks like a fun ride. The movie is directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari is the story of three people who are embroiled in quite a fun frolic love story. Lately, the debate of movies delivering the social relevant message has gained so much momentum that may be entertainment has taken a back seat. And Bareilly Ki Barfi would entertain, it seems.
The trailer of Bareilly Ki Barfi starts with the introduction of the female protagonist Bitti who thinks she is stuck in a small town. The girl only finds an escape Bareilly Ki Barfi which she thinks is written by a learned man. In her journey, she runs into Ayushmann Khurrana who tell Bitti he knows the man. The twist is that Dubey Ji (Ayushmann) really doesn’t know him and bring Rajkummar Rao- a salesman, to meet Bitti.
While Ayushmann thinks Rajkummar will just do his job of breaking Kriti’s heart and go, the salesman falls in love with her. What follows next is lots of confusion, jealousy and heartbreak. The trailer has definitely piqued interest and it looks an entertaining film. One of the highlights of the trailer is the scene in which Ayushmann told Rajkummar he couldn’t get married because of the looks he had. To this, the latter said, if marriages depended on looks then many men in India would remain unmarried.
