Bollywood actor Inder Kumar passed away at around 2 AM on Friday. He suffered a heart attack at his residence in Andheri, Mumbai. He worked in more than 20 films, along few with Salman Khan including Wanted, Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge and many others. These days he had been shooting for his next film Phati Paid Hai Yaar. The cremation will be held at Yarri Road Shaan Bhoomi on Friday July, 28. He was 43. He was best known for playing supporting roles in Bollywood films. Some of them include Kahi Payr Na Ho Jaye, Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge, Tirchhi Topiwale and others. Inder is survived by his wife Pallavi Sarraf.
Confirming the news Inder’s ex-father-in-law Raju Karia said: “He passed away at 2am on Friday morning after suffering a cardiac arrest.”
Apart from films, he indulged in TV by essaying the role of Mihir Virani in Ekta Kapoor’s popular show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. He also appeared in Television reality show Fear Files in 2013.
The actor also created headlines in April 2014 for allegedly assaulting a women. Inder Kumar was arrested by the Versova police after a woman registered an FIR alleging that he had raped and assaulted her. He was charged under sections 376 (rape), 324 (causing grievous hurt) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code. In May, the police asserted that the medical reports supported the woman’s claims of rape and assault. Kumar has denied the allegations saying that he had a consensual relationship with the woman. In June, Kumar was granted bail.
