Poster Boys performed poorly in its opening weekend as the film raked in approximately Rs 7.25 crore in its three-day run at the Box Office. The Sunny Deol – Bobby Deol film showed growth over the weekend, however, the opening day collections, essential for the film to record a far better trend over the weekend, were too low.
The biz of Poster Boys would have been higher had it secured the premium single screens across the country, however, most of them were retained by Baadshaho, which is continuing to have a substantial run in the hinterlands. To break even, the film needs to record a healthy trend on the weekdays, however, that looks to be highly unlikely seeing how things progressed over the weekend. The budget of Poster Boys is Rs 26 crore and the producers have recovered around Rs 12 crore from satellite, digital and music rights. It needs to collect around Rs 26 to 30 crore to break even for the producers.

Daddy fared far worse than Poster Boys as the film raked in approximately Rs 5.00 crore in its opening weekend. The Arjun Rampal-starrer fared the best in Mumbai due to the local connect, however, performed poorly across the country. The film has flopped at the Box Office in India and the lifetime collections are expected to wrap up under Rs 10 crore.
Though the film opened to mixed reviews, however, because Arjun Rampal doesn’t have a designated fan following, the film needed to garner positive reviews and a good word of mouth to attract a significant audience to the cinema halls.

Shubh Mangal Savdhan was the first choice for the audience even in its second week as the film collected Rs 7.75 crore in its second weekend, taking the total collections to Rs 31.50 crore. The film continued to fare well at the multiplexes across the country and has emerged as a clean hit at the Box Office. The film is expected to breach past the Rs 40 crore mark by the time it ends the run at the ticket window, which is a very good result given the star cast and restrained budget.
