Shubh Mangal Savdhan is on a dream run at the Box Office as the film raked in Rs 2.85 crore on Tuesday taking the five day total to Rs 19.84 crore. The Ayushmann Khurrana – Bhumi Pednekar film is doing terrific biz at the multiplexes in the four cities namely Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, and Kolkata, which has resulted in a healthy trend at the Box Office.
The audience’s word of mouth as well as critic reviews are on the positive side and the movie is now looking to collect in the Rs 23 crore range in its first week. The 7 day collection of Ayushmann Khurrana – Kriti Sanon’s recently released romantic comedy, Bareily Ki Barfi was approximately Rs 19 crore while Shubh Mangal Savdhan went past that number in just 5 days.
The RS Prasanna directorial is already in profits and it is looking to emerge as a clean hit at the Box Office with lifetime collection close to Rs 45 crore. The film faced competition from Baadshaho in the first week, which did impact the collections initially. However, it is predicted that the second week at the Box Office coupled up with the holidays in the first week will make up for the loss of business in first 3 days.
Day Wise Collection:
Bareily Ki Barfi is looking to end its run at the Box Office collection around Rs 33 crore and given the trend of Shubh Mangal Savdhan so far, it would breach past that number with ease. While both the films are successful films, Shubh Mangal Savdhan has definitely proved to be a winner in this Box Office game.
The dry spell of Bollywood films at the Box Office has finally come to an end with Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Bareily Ki Barfi, Baadshaho and Shubh Mangal Savdhan proving to be reasonably successful.
