Aamir Khan starrer Dangal is reaching new heights. The film is on its way to being the biggest grosser in Hindi cinema, defeating PK’s record at the Box Office soon. The sports-drama is being loved by audiences all over the world. Thanks to the universal content it offers and emotions of a father-daughter relationship it evokes. The film has minted an amount of Rs 9. 12 crore on Thursday (week 2) making the total of Rs 313. 50 crore.
Dangal, directed by Nitesh Tiwari has now turned into an All Time Blockbuster. Here is the detailed breakup of the domestic collections of Dangal:

While the film has raked in a whopping amount of Rs 197. 54 crore in its week 1, the week 2 has collected Rs 115. 96 crore. Dangal is now the highest grossing Hindi film of 2016, beating Sultan’s record of Rs 301. 5 crore. Not just that, the biopic on former Indian wrestler, Mahavir Singh Phogat is the highest grossing Indian film in Australia. The record was earlier owned by Aamir’s previous on-screen outing — PK.
Apart from that, Dangal is also the first film to have crossed Rs 300 crore at the Box Office within just 12 days of its theatrical run. While the film seems to be easily surpassing PK’s record of Rs 340. 6 crore in its week 3, Bollywood will have to wait for a film which reaches Rs 400 crore at the Box Office, waving a new flag for Hindi cinema.
