Even after almost a month of its release, Aamir Khan’s Dangal is not showing any signs of slowing down at the box office. After breaking all the records, it seems like the movie is in competition with itself. With big releases like xXx: Return of Xander Cage, OK Jaanu and Haraamkhor this month, Dangal emerged as a winner and is still ruling the box office like a boss.
Undoubtedly, the film is reaching new heights with every passing day and is not only ruling the box office domestically but is making history overseas as well. In week 4 of its release, Dangal minted a total amount of Rs 374.95 crore in the domestic market.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal marks Aamir’s return to the silver screen after a gap of two years. The film is a biopic of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, who trains his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari. Besides Khan, the film features Sakshi Tanwar, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra.
Dangal has also taken the international market by storm and is the highest grossing Hindi film in USA – Canada and Australia. Here is the detailed breakup of the domestic collections of the film in week 4 of its release:

- Friday: Rs 1.94 crore
- Saturday: Rs 4.06 crore
- Sunday: Rs 4.24 crore
- Monday: Rs 1.37 crore
- Tuesday: Rs 1.27 crore
- Wednesday: Rs 1.16 crore
- Thursday: Rs 1.04 crore
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and wrote:
