Dangal, the Aamir Khan starrer, has created history at the China Box Office. The movie entered its second week of release in the neighbouring country and started on a phenomenal note. The movie has entered the Rs 200 crore club in China, making it the first Indian movie to do so. This historic achievement of Dangal, proves that quality cinema is what viewers want to see.

This Nitesh Tiwari directorial told the story of Mahavir Singh Phogat who defied societal norms to make his daughters wrestlers. The movie earned a lot of money in India and became the biggest blockbuster in the country. The movie’s record was broken by Baahubali: The Conclusion, that released on 28 April.

Dangal, was definitely one of the movies that were brilliant in every aspect. From the storytelling to the direction, from the casting to their performances, everything was beyond perfect in this movie. It wowed critics and viewers alike with its narrative. The movie showed how a father’s determination helped his daughters achieve the unachievable.

To get into the skin of the character Mahavir Singh Phogat, Aamir Khan went through rigorous exercise. He put on weight for the older version of Phogat and lost all of it for the younger one. Apart from Aamir, his on-screen daughters Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra also get into the skin of their characters. Dangal, explored the father-daughter relationship like no other movie had done in the recent past, which was one of the reasons why it connected with the viewers.
