Did Salman Khan back out of Karan Johar's project for close friend Ajay Devgn?

While Karan Johar is not on talking terms with the actor, Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn share a close bond and are great friends from past many years

Bhaijaan Salman Khan has time and again proved that he can do anything for his friends and family and there is no doubt about it. Recently, Salman did something for his close friend Ajay Devgn which will make you respect him even more.

Two months back, Karan Johar announced his new film with Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan which will be helmed by national award-winner Punjabi filmmaker Anurag Singh. The film is said to be based on the battle of Saragarhi and is scheduled to release in 2018.

Now, it is being said that Karan Johar already knew that Ajay Devgn had been planning to make a film on the Battle of Saragarhi for very long, but KJo still went ahead and announced the film. Well, all the credit goes to Karan and Ajay’s feud on Twitter which also led to KJo’s fallout with BFF Kajol.

In fact, the tiff took an ugly turn when Ajay Devgn blamed Karan Johar for paying money to film critic KRK to speak bad thing about his film Shivaay and Kajol backed hubby Devgn and not her close friend Karan Johar. All this happened because Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Ajay’s Shivaay released on the same date and it was one of the biggest box office clashes of the year.

While Karan is not on talking terms with the actor, Salman and Ajay share a close bond and are great friends from past many years. According to a report in DNA, Salman was unaware of the tension between Karan and Ajay and he also had no clue about the actor’s film on the same storyline. So, to avoid any further issues Salman decided to opt out of Karan’s project.

Well, now that Salman Khan is not a part of Johar’s project anymore, it will be interesting to see how KJo will react to it.
