On the occasion of Teachers’ Day today, September 5, a string of Bollywood celebrities including Amitabh Bachchan, Vishal Dadlani, Sophie Choudry and Saiyami Kher took to Twitter and expressed their views on this special day. Wishing their mentors, the actors thanked their respective teachers for what they have become today. While actress Sophie Choudry posted an image along with her mother and thanked her for teaching her to love unconditionally, Big B posted a few photographs from his film Aarakshan and said that every breath we take is a learning and thus every day is Teachers’ Day.
Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar, who is best known for directing films like Fashion, Heroine and Page 3 among others also made it a point to share his views on Teacher’s Day. He wrote: “A good teacher can inspire hope, ignite the imagination, and instill a love for learning Happy Teachers Day.”
Every year in India, on September 5, we celebrate Teacher’s Day. The day commemorates the birthday of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakhrishnan and his contribution towards the Indian education system. Check out the tweets here:

Meanwhile, Farah Khan also took to Instagram and posted a throwback picture of herself along with late pop star Michael Jackson and wrote: “Happy Teachers Day! N that’s the real Michael Jackson (MJ) not the Madame Tussauds ka putla..circa1999.”
